Study leave may be granted under the basis of normal and special circumstances. Study leave in normal circumstances may be granted after a student has undertook courses in at least two consecutive semesters, whereas special-circumstance study leave may be granted any time during study period when, inter alia, a student is approaching her labor date, or suffering from illness that requires intensive care, or being assigned for official duties. All study leave may be granted for as many as four semesters. Lastly, periods within study leave will not be taken into account when calculating a student’s study period. Students who wish for being granted a study leave should write a letter to the Head of Study Program.
